Old but well maintained equipments
location- 8 minutes walking distance to the old town . nice room. good breakfast.
Has a nice balcony , but the sea is hidden by a wall of bricks.
The hotel was within easy walking distance of the old town and faces a lovely bay. Plenty of free parking.
This hotel was somewhat disappointing and perhaps has seen better days. There was work being done on the grounds and around the pool so that is hopeful. We arrived in the large dining area after a huge group had cleared out. Staff had time to clear and reset the tables, which was great, but there was no one working on bringing out more food. The hotel overall was a disappointment -- over-priced and over-rated.
close to bus station (5 mins walk) 15 mins to city gate. Breakfast had reasonable choice but coffee not much good from machine. LAN for net is preferable to Wifi in my view (more secure) and desk space too (it is 4 star in that regard).
in common with most, consider this overpriced for what it is. Minor points - but in a 4 star hotel - bathroom door would not stay open but drifts closed (bad carpentry) and toilet seat would not stay up (ladies will not care but as a guy, annoying!). Long walk to end of wing for my room due to layout of hotel - and only one central access to pool area.
The location is great.
The coffee in the breakfast is horrible-the room price should be lower.
The location of the hotel is certainly a big plus, it is easy walking distance of old Zadar. The hotel, whilst certainly not warranting four stars, is also clean, as one might expect anyway.
The hotel was grossly overpriced. The rooms were fat beneath 4 star standard and more akin to a budget hotel. Also the reception desk staff, particularly a middle-aged man, were disinterested bordering on unfriendly. I would not pay to stay here again unless I had no other choice.
The position and short walk to town
food could be warmer( some was cold)
The only benefit to the hotel is its location. It is exactly half way between the old town and the bus/ train station. This is what we needed as we only had a half day to explore the town.
The hotel is old and in need of a refresh. It is pretty dated in its deco and defnitely give the restaurant a pass if you can.
We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and hotel.
Hotel Kolovare is a nice hotel in an excellent location. We attended a Croatian-hosted NATO conference in the hotel and their facilities were excellent. The staff is very nice and very professional. A very nice stay and would certainly recommend it.
The Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. The meeting rooms, restaurant and lobby were very nice. The hotel is near the water and has some great views.
The beds were fair. Probably average for European standards. The air conditioning didn't work too well. Fortunately the temperatures were moderate during my stay.
Very nice and clean hotel. We actually got upgraded to a suite, so really nothing to complain. The breakfast buffet was well above par.
The hotel was very expensive for the quality of accommodation and comfort. Location is very good - less that 10 mins walk to the old town of Zadar. Breakfast was very good and nice pool.
bed very uncomfortable and view from balcony blocked by concrete screen
Nice location with beautiful view from the balcony.
Cleaning stuff could do a better job.
Convenience to Zadar Airport
Arrived in at approx 10.30p.m - we were not make feel very welcome in the dining room which closed at 11p.m.
